Non-Invasive Ventilation
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is breathing support that uses a mask to deliver positive pressure into a patient’s lungs. The pressure adjusts to a patient breathing in or out. NIV is a very popular and effective method for managing respiratory issues in adults in emergency departments and intensive care units.
NIV is used to treat acute and chronic respiratory failure, severe COPD, ALS and various other disease processes.
NIV requires careful monitoring and titration to ensure success and avoid complications. Our respiratory therapists are specialized in helping you adjust to NIV. We work with your care team to provide ongoing instruction, solutions for troubleshooting, and techniques to become acclimated to this device. Our visits are tailored to your needs and attention is given to ensuring your success. We regularly download data from your device for your physician to make necessary changes or your insurance to meet their requirements. Our goal is to keep you in your home, and out of the hospital.
Sleep Apnea (PAP)
Positive airway pressure (PAP) is one of the most common treatments for sleep apnea, a breathing disorder that affects up to 30% of the population. BiPAP and CPAP machines are both used to treat sleep apnea and respiratory distress, by keeping the airway open during sleep. Although your physician or health care provider will determine which device is best for your treatment, our specialists will help you become acclimated to your equipment. We will provide detailed education on how to operate, clean and utilize your equipment to enhance your quality of life. We will fit you properly with a mask to feel comfortable so that right from the first night, you can start to feel rested and start experiencing the benefits of sleeping well.
Our sleep disorder specialists/respiratory therapists can monitor your progress using modems and applications helping your physician adjust your settings by detailed downloads of your data. We are focused on providing you with the tools and support through education and resources to impact your quality of life and improve your health and outcome.
CGMs
Round Table Health Care can now supply the most popular and advanced Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM’s) for diabetes management. Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen therapy is a medical treatment that provides extra oxygen to individuals who have trouble getting enough through natural breathing alone. It is commonly used for patients with chronic respiratory conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, or severe asthma, as well as for those with heart failure or other health issues that affect oxygen levels. By delivering oxygen directly into the lungs through devices like nasal cannulas, masks, or portable oxygen concentrators, oxygen therapy helps to improve energy levels, reduce breathlessness, and enhance overall quality of life.
Round Table Health Care plays a crucial role in making oxygen therapy accessible and manageable for patients outside of hospital settings. We offer a range of oxygen equipment, such as stationary oxygen concentrators, portable units, and oxygen cylinders, ensuring that patients can maintain mobility and independence. We also provide training on equipment use, maintenance, and safety, as well as regular check-ups to ensure equipment is functioning correctly. With professional support and convenient access to oxygen therapy, we can empower our patients to manage their respiratory needs comfortably from home.
